Cyberprince Chronicles

A couple of days ago I was thrilled to find out that a member of the University of the Philippines Broadcasters’ Guild (an organization I co-founded back in 1999) was competing for this year’s Bb. Pilipinas crown.

Tonight the news was even better, 22-year old Anna Theresa Lecaros bagged the top prize, Bb. Pilipinas Universe. She’ll go on to compete at Miss Universe 2007 later this year. Theresa is currently a law student at the University of the Philippines College of Law, and I am told that she topped the UP Law Entrance Examination. She was also the first Broadcast Communication student to graduate Suma Cum Laude from the College of Mass Communication in UP Diliman.

With that long line of achievements, and as a fellow “Guilder” I am very proud to be even remotely associated to her. Congratulations Theresa and we wish you well!
