Back to Blogging
What’s up doc?
Have been back in the Philippines for slightly over a month after that month-long stint in the US for GMA7′s Manny Pacquiao coverage. Its been a crazy last month, with me juggling a computer programming class, coverage of the 2007 Senatorial elections, and the very first PHILMUG Nike+ Challenge.
The elections are over, although it will be another month till we probably find out who won. Summer classes are coming to a close in a week, and I’m currently taking the time out to finish my first blog post in a long while, while I ice my knees which are sore from back-to-back 20km runs over the weekend.
Good news is that I’ve hit the top spot on the leader-board for the first time since the challenge begun on May 1st. For sure I’m not staying there long, the real pros, Peter Obligacion and Gilbert Espiridion have been toughing it out over the last few weeks and both are capable of effortlessly running away with the title. Meanwhile I’m sitting back, basking in the glory while it lasts.
Here’s a screen grab of the current top ten as of May 20, 2007.

Later on in the month, I’ll be back to work on coverage of the Miss Universe pageant for the Miss Universe Blog, getting my first DSLR, and finally putting out HIT Season 2 which has been delayed because we’re still working on the new opening billboard & graphics.
The hardest thing about a trip like the one I took is that you immediately set into a new routine, when you get back to your real life, it takes a while before you get back into the grove. I’ve missed my Internet life.
Cheers.
