The Miss Universe pageant takes place next Monday and I’m already running late on my monitoring of the event. Yearly duties include a predictions list that has become quite popular over the last few years.
Last year I went a bit further and published the Miss Universe Blog which drew more than 8000 unique hits on pageant day from its live running coverage of the event.
Given my school and work load this year I will be unable to update as much as I did last year but commit to the following posts:
LIVE Coverage of the Event: If you don’t have live television coverage of the 2007 Miss Universe pageant you can visit the site, and keep on refreshing and you will get up to the minute updates and commentary as they happen (May 28).
Predictions: 8 hours before the event I post my yearly predictions. With one of the highest accuracy rates on the net.
Prepageant Review: I’ll post my top picks from both the swimsuit and evening gown competition of the all important preliminary pageant that takes place May 23.
Day After Updates: There’s usually a whole lot that goes on the day after, and I’ll try to provide you with the first pics of the new Miss Universe a day after she is crowned.
Of course I’ll be cheering on Ms. Philippines (pictured), who’s a member of the University of the Philippines Broadcasters’ Guild of which I am a part of. I wrote about her earlier here. Photo Copyright © Miss Universe L.P., LLLP.

Michael,
Hi there!
This is your Kuya Mar (you know, from way back then in MBC)!
How refreshing it is to read your blog and your article on the Internet.
I like how you write. Keep on writing. That’s what I intend to do after retirement here in DBP. If you could please give me your e-mail address, I’d appreciate it very much. We could exchange thoughts much longer.
Let’s have some coffe. I’ll treat you…
Regards and God bless!
Kuya Mar
